Batgirl actress Leslie Grace was first seen sporting her character’s signature red hair to film scenes for the DC blockbuster in Glasgow on Thursday.

The star, 27, who takes on the role of Barbara Gordon in the HBO film, wore the heroine’s famous auburn locks when she arrived on set.

Leslie will star opposite Michael Keaton as The Dark Knight himself in the upcoming film, and shooting will begin earlier this week in Glasgow as the crew transformed the city into Gotham.

Leslie looked much more casual when she arrived on set, dressed in a cozy gray plaid hooded jacket and burgundy track pants.

She wore a beanie over her new look and appeared to be in a good mood when she arrived to film the nighttime scenes.

It comes after Glasgow residents were offered free earplugs and blackout blinds due to disruption caused by the shooting of HBO’s upcoming movie Max, in which crew members erected graffiti-covered signs featuring Batman, teacups and crabs on walls on Monday.

Acting as the fictional Gotham, where Batman and his femme fatale niece live, Scotland’s second city is said to be filled with noisy chases until the early hours.

The blockbuster’s production company, American Night, has reportedly posted letters in the doorposts of local residents and businesses as a warning.
