Jesinta Franklin will return to work on Sunday with her ambassador role for Crown.
And the model, who shares daughter Tullulah, one, and 10-month-old son Rocky with her AFL star husband Lance “Buddy” Frankin, revealed to The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar on Saturday how important her career is to her mental health.
“It’s so nice to go back to work and see the different elements of my career because as a mother you sacrifice so much for your children,” said the 30-year-old.

“You put your needs at the very bottom of the to-do list, so it’s nice to come back to it. It’s also very important for my mental health to have something to aspire to outside of motherhood,” the former Miss Universe Australia continued.
Jesinta and Buddy, 34, who are both Crown ambassadors, will attend the Crown IMG Tennis Party in Melbourne on Sunday ahead of the 2022 Australian Open.

Jesinta and Sydney Swans star Buddy married in an intimate ceremony in 2016.
Buddy got candid early last year when he discussed their marriage and fatherhood in an interview with Daily Mail Australia.
Discussing what he likes most about fatherhood, he said, “I like everything about being a father. But the evolution in my relationship with Jes from a couple to a family is also very special and worthwhile.’

‘I’m lucky’: Earlier this year, Buddy, 34, got candid when he discussed the couple’s marriage and paternity of their two children in an interview with Daily Mail Australia
While praising Jesinta as an “incredible mother” to Tullulah and Rocky, he went on to say, “Jes is one of the most loving and caring people I know.
“I’m lucky to have such a wonderful partner to share this journey with.”
Meanwhile, when questioned about the secret of a happy marriage, the athlete replied with a refreshingly honest answer.

“I’m not sure if there’s a secret… every relationship has its hurdles, and we all react differently to situations, so it’s important to talk things through and keep an open mind,” he said.
“With such busy schedules, it’s also important for us to make time as a couple and as a family.”
And while Buddy may not have any plans to have children in the near future, he’s still keeping his options open.
Grateful: ‘I am lucky to have such a wonderful partner to share this journey with,’ said Buddy of his wife Jesinta
“We’ve got our hands full right now with two under two… but who knows what the future will bring,” he said.
Buddy also said he hopes to pass on his love for AFL to his children, but will not pressure them to follow in his footsteps by becoming athletes.
“I just want them to enjoy the game,” he said.
“Being able to bond over something I love and share that with them is enough.”
