Video shows dog trainer swinging a German Shepherd puppy on his leash and slamming it to the ground

A dog trainer is under investigation after a graphic video depicted him knocking a German Shepherd puppy to the ground, crushing his behind.

The Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the TyCalK9 Dog Training Center in Arcola, Texas, after a horrific video showed an unidentified trainer injured a puppy after it failed to obey an order.

The trainer, whose face was not visible in the clip but who was wearing all black with Nike shoes, can be seen training a small German Shepherd with a long, black training tool, but the puppy seemed to think it was playtime.

It tugged at the tool and jumped every now and then.

Seconds later, the trainer can be seen clamping down on the leash before dragging the dog over his shoulder and knocking him to the ground with his body.

The dog’s rear end hit the floor first, absorbing most of the impact, as a sickening fissure rang out across the room. The puppy then whimpered to the ground, barely managing to get up as his hind legs struggled to hold his weight as he whimpered in pain.

That dog barely seemed to be able to stand on its hind legs for more than a few seconds, preferring to use its left leg while resting it on the floor.

The video is rumored to have been taken months ago, but was posted to Facebook earlier this week by Kayla AllGame. It’s unclear what happened to the puppy after the clip was shot or whether he survived the injuries.

AllGame accused owner Manuel Golden of abuse, saying in a scathing Facebook post that it “does not endorse or support TyCal or Manuel Golden.”

“I want to apologize to everyone I suggested TyCal would be a good place to train your dog. I was not aware of the appalling conditions in which he keeps dogs,” she wrote on Facebook.

There is currently no suggestion that Golden is the man in the video, or that he was even present when the abuse took place. DailyMail.com has contacted AllGame for further comment.

She also accused Golden of stealing another man’s dog and applying “code red” when the health department arrived for inspections. Code Red was reportedly known for having every employee keep inspectors out of the “disgusting” back room where Golden “had 12 kennels, but keeps 100+ dogs in the facility,” according to AllGame.

Local prosecutors have now launched an investigation into animal cruelty and said it would not comment as long as the investigation is ‘ongoing’.

“We’ve barely scratched the surface of this investigation,” Wesley Wittig of the Fort Bend DA office told DailyMail.com Friday.

Wittig declined to comment on the trainer’s identity when approached by DailyMail.com, saying the investigation is “fresh” and “has only been brought to our attention this week.”

In addition, the Houston SPCA has offered to assist with the investigation.

The company has since deleted its Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and website since the video surfaced.

However, there seems to be activity on the property and KHO 11, who visited the facility, said they heard dogs barking.

The TyCalK9 Dog Training Center advertised itself as an “exclusive” dog training program that has worked with reality show star Khloe Kardashian and NBA player Dwight Howard.
